Continuations after 1:1

Opener will usually bid 1NT, 2 or 2 after which the 1 bidder can bid as follows:

Pass Weak hand hoping to get out of the auction. 2/ Over 1NT is sign-off 2/ Naturally sign-off (usually a weak 6-card suit) 2NT 9-11 HCPs with 55-Majors (Opener place the contract) 3/ Raise are natural and invitational 3/ Constructive 9-11 HCPs with 7-card suit
