Control Asks Next

After relaying for the complete shape:

Game bids are to play. Responder may zoom with 15+ HCPs and 4+Controls.

Non-Game bids are one of the following:

1st-Step asks for Controls (A=2, K=1)
2nd-Step (if available) asks for Aces only

Responses to these asking bids are step-responses using the following table:

Range 5-6 6-9 9+ 15+
Controls 1 2 3 4
Aces are always shown by steps:
1st-step = 0 or 3
2nd-step = 1 or 4
3rd-step = 2

If the shape relays end at 4 only one asking bid is available and Controls take precedence.

A jump to 4NT after relaying always asks for Aces.

If we are forced out of relays by interference then 4NT by Responder is Key-Card-Blackwood for Responder's known 5+suit, otherwise it is ordinary Blackwood.
